1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to The Purring Lounge. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our cat boarding and day care services located at Orchid Sky, Shela, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India ("Service").

By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Service Description

The Purring Lounge provides cage-free cat boarding and day care services in a home-like environment. Our services include:

Home-like boarding accommodations

Day care services

Specialized cat care

Personalized attention

Premium food options (Royal Canin, Sheba, Farmina N&D)

Home-cooked meal options (upon request)

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

Bookings are made through our website form, which redirects to WhatsApp for confirmation. Bookings are subject to availability and not confirmed until you receive explicit confirmation from us.

3.2 Payment Terms

Payment details will be discussed after initial booking inquiry. We may require deposits for certain bookings, particularly during peak seasons. Cancellation policies will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.

4. Health and Vaccination Requirements

For the safety of all cats in our care, we require:

Vaccinations: All cats must be up to date on core vaccinations, including FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia). Proof of vaccination must be provided before boarding.

Parasite Control: All cats must be on a regular deworming program and be free of fleas and ticks. We reserve the right to treat cats for external parasites at the parent's expense if necessary.

Health Status: Cats must be in good general health. We may refuse service to cats showing signs of contagious illness to protect other boarders.

5. Parent Responsibilities

As a cat parent using our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information about your cat's health, behavior, and needs

Disclose any behavioral issues, medical conditions, or special requirements

Provide sufficient medication if required, with clear instructions

Leave emergency contact information

Ensure your cat meets all vaccination and health requirements

6. Personal Items and Food

You may provide personal items (toys, bedding) for your cat's comfort during their stay. While we will take reasonable care of these items, we cannot be responsible for damage or loss.

We provide premium food brands (Royal Canin, Sheba, Farmina N&D) as part of our service. If your cat requires special food, you are welcome to provide it with clear feeding instructions.

7. Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency or illness, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the emergency contact information provided. If we cannot reach you in a timely manner, you authorize us to seek veterinary care for your cat at your expense.

By using our services, you agree to reimburse us for any veterinary expenses incurred for your cat's care.

8. Liability Limitation

While we provide a safe, caring environment for your cat, you acknowledge:

We are not liable for any illness or injury that may occur during boarding despite our best efforts to maintain a safe environment.

We are not responsible for pre-existing medical conditions or the natural progression of such conditions.

Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the boarding services provided.

9. Photography and Marketing

We may occasionally take photos of cats in our care for social media and marketing purposes. By using our services, you grant us permission to use images of your cat for promotional activities. If you prefer that we not photograph your cat, please inform us at the time of booking.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
